After a remodel

Post-renovation cleaning

A renovation happens inside a space someone still uses. The dust does not stay in the room being worked on, and the parts of the home that were never touched end up needing attention too.

Renovation work in progress inside an occupied home

Dust travels further than the work

Sanding a single wall puts fine dust through the whole floor of a house. It reaches shelves in the next room, settles on soft furnishings, and comes back through the ventilation for days afterwards.

We clean beyond the renovated area because stopping at the doorway leaves the problem in place. Which rooms are included is agreed with you before we start, so the price matches the actual scope.

Working in an occupied space

Furniture, belongings and finished surfaces are already in the room, and they are not part of the site. The crew works around them rather than through them, and anything that has to move is put back where it stood.

Where the renovation is partial, we protect the boundary between the finished and unfinished areas so the clean does not have to be repeated after the next stage of work.

Timing around the trades

Renovations run in stages, and cleaning too early wastes the work. We usually come in once the dust-producing trades are finished, and return for a shorter visit if a later stage puts dust back into the space.

What you get at the end

A home or office you can use immediately, without finding renovation dust on a shelf a week later.
